Barbel 10lb 13oz caught 20 October 2020 as part of a two day session. Day 1 had been prolific, but Day 2 had seen the fish back-off. A change to sweetcorn provoked the most delicate of bites and a tentative strike connected me with my second Wye double in as many days. Magic!

Chub 5'5 caught 24 June 2010 at the bottom end of Lower Bishopswood on the Wye. One of several big chub caught that day including another larger looking fish weighing 5'2. Caught on feeder fished halibut pellet.

Rainbow Trout 12 lb 6 oz Caught on a blue flash olive hothead damsel, fished deep at Ardaire Springs in April 2019. An absolute powerhouse of a fish taking fifteen minutes to land - I could barely lift my arm!
Mirror Carp 18lb 14oz caught 07 May 2016 at Astwood Fisheries with the last put in of the day having packed everything away apart from a pole power top and a landing net. Caught down the edge on pole fished double corn.
Common Carp 18lb 6oz caught 9 September 2017 at Larford Lakes . Caught on the downstream end of a strong wind, down the edge on pole fished meat.
